This was one of the most emotional weddings I’ve ever been a part of. This sweet couple went from a big wedding of 200+ people down to a small intimate wedding of 10. They refused to let Covid-19 stop them (or make them reschedule) the day they’ve looked forward to the most. During a worldwide pandemic their wedding was essentially cancelled but they vigorously worked to make their new dream of an intimate wedding come true. After three or four house rentals falling through, they were able to stick to this beach house and MARRIED they shall be. They said their vows on the deck overlooking Lake Michigan. The amount of love, genuine emotions and the peace and relaxation throughout the entire day with the connection I saw between the groom and bride’s family was all truly beautiful.
I’ll never forget the moment the bride’s brother told her “I hate more than anything that you were not able to be surrounded by 200 of your closest people to tell you just how beautiful you look today. You deserve that more than anything.” We all were in tears. I couldn’t see behind the camera. It was such a raw moment that I honestly cherish so much to of been a part of.
