When people ask how long I’ve been doing photography, my answer is always, ‘Pretty much my whole life.’ And truly, I’m either out exploring somewhere new with a camera in my hand or at home in full cozy mode with my pups —there’s really no in-between.
I can’t recommend Cari enough for anyone who wants the most perfect photos for their wedding day! She was excellent at communicating, took time to get to know us and listen to our ideas and visions, and really allowed us to be ourselves and feel understood. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable to have your photo taken, but she made both of us feel at ease. She is bubbly and up for an adventure, standing in the street and on rooftops to get the money shot, haha! My husband and I were completely blown away with her! She knows her stuff! If you want a photographer who will respect and represent your individuality, and be your biggest cheerleader whole doing it, she’s your girl. Cari captured my lakeside wedding in upstate New York perfectly! She fit right in with our friends and family during the entire wedding weekend - she hiked to the top of a mountain with my husband and I, sat alongside our friends at the bonfire, and took a kayak out onto the lake to get a group shot of our entire wedding party. I would recommend Cari to anyone looking for a fun wedding photographer to capture their elopement or big day (without the typical posing pictures!)
